What if the best European players played against the best American players?

Europe has increased the number of players in the NBA. Doncic, Antetokounmpo … are key players for their respective franchises. Meanwhile, USA keeps players like Lebron or Curry. What if the best European players played against the best American players? Let’s compare them by position to see who the winner is.

European players

The European players against American continues and it’s hard to say which team would win but what we know for sure is that both of them could be an All Star team. Luka, who by stats is the best European player, is playing his third season on the NBA. In the first one, he was picked the rookie of the year, being the second European player that reaches this trophy after Pau Gasol. On his second season, he became the first player under 21 to have 9 triple-doubles in NBA history. He surpassed Lebron James and Magic Johnson.

Another European player that could compete with the legends of the NBA would be Giannis Antetokounmpo. He was born on Greece, with Nigerian descent. He has been two times MVP of the season, one best defender of the year, five times in the All Star team, two times season leader and more. An incredible player that is still young and can reach many more trophies.

Jokic, has been playing this last game of All Star. Was Lebron James who picked him. Sabonis won this year the NBA skills challenge after finishing runner up. Bogdanovic, who is now injured, has been a key player for the Sacramento Kings this past years. Now he is playing for the Atlanta Hawks, with a contract of 4 years and 72 million dollars.

The two players of the Brooklyn Nets, Hardem and KD are also players that had reach many trophies on their carrier. Their team, Nets, are the favorite team to win the NBA title this year according to the sportsbooks. For last Anthony Davis that has been a key player for Lebron in LA.

This All Star game will not take place eventually but we hope it does. Europe is growing every time more in the NBA and so all the European leagues are. Goubert, Marc Gasol, Ricky Rubio… are key European players for their franchises that don’t have a place on this team but we could build another and it would be a real All Star team also.
