It is one of the two biggest carnival parades in town. 34 floats and more than 1,000 carnival performers danced their way through the streets of Sitges.  They were presenting their elaborate costumes, dance choreographies and colorful carriages to the many celebrating onlookers on the roadside. According to media reports, the municipality estimated the number of participants to be similar to the one before the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, after the parade was cancelled in 2021.  The second biggest parade took place on Tuesday as the people celebrated “Los Dias de las Ruas”.
