Vintage Markets in Barcelona

The offer in the month of May again does not disappoint. Below are the four markets you can not miss this month as well as a video in which 3 international students are interviewed about their experiences with vintage markets in Barcelona. 

Name: Barcelona en las Alturas

On the grounds of Torre Bellesguard, one of Antoni Gaudi‘s lesser-known but no less fantastic architectural achievements, you will find a vintage market on the weekend of 6 to 8 May. You can have a bite to eat at the food trucks, wander around between the fashion stalls and enjoy live music. This unique location will stay with you for a long time.

In the residential neighbourhood of Sarria-Sant Gervasi, you will find the Zoco market during the month of May. Zoco is not just a typical market, it brings innovative designers and new brands. In addition, they also collaborate with solidarity projects. The market surprises more every time, as they try to offer new alternatives and proposals in each edition.

Every month, the Palo Market Fest takes place in Palo Alto in Poblenou. This location is an old factory, dedicated since 1997 to the promotion and management of activities related to creativity. Now, it is a lively market with both indoor and outdoor stalls with fashion items, food trucks, live music, lights and seating areas.

Date: 8 May 2022 (every second Sunday of the month)
Opening hours: 10:00 – 19:00

Flea Market is the perfect opportunity to go home with original articles. It’s the most popular vintage market. You will not only find clothes but also books, furniture and music. The market takes place pretty close to the beach, easily reachable by metro. It takes place every second Sunday of the month.
